I'm used to playing spot-the-guest-star on current tv serieses. You know, Dr. Weir on NCIS, Norman (BT) on Supernatural, things like that.
I'm /not/ used to doing it with shows from 1978.
...and yet.
So I'm watching original BSG, and it's dorky and has bad effects and worse physics (srsly, all that swooping about like atmospheric craft? and the fact that keeping moving apparently burns fuel faster than coming to a dead stop?) and campy and utterly adorable. I'm not, of course, expecting to see any familiar faces. Names, unexpectedly, yes, in the producer credits, but not faces.
Until I get to episode 8 (Magnificent Warriors), and go "heyyyy that kinda looks like Sheridan's dad."
(which it is.)
(...I kind of died giggling.)
