Leaving aside the implausibilities of 1) ordinary demons creating spontaneous harcesis hybrid children, 2) this not happening way more often, and 3) said hybrid being impossibly powerful...
... why the fuck* would they need to train him at all? Just get him to believe that the apocalypse isn't happening, that demons can't hurt people anymore, ditto angels, and maybe as a side benefit that Sam and Dean aren't the ones responsible for, and therefore guilty of, the apocalypse, and bam. Problems solved.
I mean, yes, that would be too easy, at least from a meta standpoint. But this is why it's a bad idea to write in something that's all-powerful. At least the Colt had limits - first, solidly, with the number of bullets, and second, a bit more shakily, by being easy to steal / lose / whatever. This? This was just sloppy.
(but the boys are still as cute as ever. And toy!Cas made me giggle. And Bobby is so totally Professor X zomg.)
